To be eligible to go to the next class it is compulsory for students of classes I to VIII to have a minimu of 80% attendance. Students of classes IX to XII are expected to have 90% attendance.

Students who come late to school and who have been absent on the previous day must bring a letter of explanation from their parents. This is to be submitted to the class teacher. A suitable entry must also be made in the appropriate place in the school diary.

Students are not granted leave outside the regular vacation periods (except in case of illness). Students, who do not join school, on the day of reopening after vacations, are liable to forfeit their place. Re-admission would entail payment of admission fee. In case of illness the school must be notified either before or on the first day of re-opening.

Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more then six consecutive days renders a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission will be at the discretion of the Principal.

Students cannot take leave before reviews, unit test, mid-term or final examination. A child who is found to be absent just before the weekly test/long reviews/exams shall lose marks and may even not be allowed to appear in the examination.

A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a medical certificate.

A student with fever should be at home resting and will not be allowed to attend school.
