The Celebration of the different state days by the Junior Section is a way to introduce them to the diversity that is there in India.
We began with a summer project on the various states for different classes. Class IV chose Orissa and through summer, collected information on the State and learnt much about the state.

This has been followed by a month of activities which included quizzes, worksheets, making of tribal jewellery in the SUPW classes, a food fiesta and putting up of class boards. This month-long activity Culmination vibrant dance, peppy songs and folklore enacted with gusto.

The children have, through this rather entertaining and stimulating experience, got more than a glimpse of a culture that was alien to them otherwise.
