St. Mary's school ever since its inception has been actively involved in several Community Organization initiatives and in this process has contributed to the well-being of different deprived sections of the society. The ‘Naya Daur an afternoon school project was born out of the need to provide basic formal schooling to 60 children from the streets.

The classes would commence from July, 2010 and the, children would be taught languages and Math with an innovative pedagogy of multilevel classroom teaching. For this the school would provide for three teachers, administration staff and transport facility. The beneficiaries would also be provided books, uniform and access to basic school amenities.

Despite efforts of the government to provide free education to children from deprived conditions, there are many pockets of such children who are unable to exercise their right to free education in a formal setting for various reasons. By providing a formal schooling environment, we aim to help the children to fight for the right to good quality of life.

In this humble attempt to mainstream the children found in difficult circumstances through quality elementary education, we look forward to material and financial resources and support.
In this regard we have computed an annual estimate of the project, it is as follows:-
