The Junior Section celeberated the Independence Day by organizing a special assembly. The assembly included :

 Fancy Dress – Class I:
The children dressed up as Chacha Nehru, RaniLakshmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Bal Ganga dhar Tilak , Sarojini Naidu , Gandhiji and Mangal Pandey and quoted their slogans with full enthusiasm.

Patriotic song  (Jhanda Uncha)- Class II and III:
A group song was sung by the children of classes II and III. The children wore saffron, white and green satchel.

Skit on Jaliaanwaala Bagh Massacre:
The students of the Junior Section depicted how innocent people were killed in the Jaliaanwaalah Bagh massacre under the orders of General Dyer. The India-Pakistan partition was also shown in the skit. The children enacted on the song “Bharat Ko Koti Pranaam”. A street play on “Save the girl child” was also done.

Last but not the least ; An overwhelming performance by our little angel , Shreya.
Shreya  sang “Nanha Munna Raahi Hu” and also played it on her cassio. Hats off darling!
The Junior Section had put in its whole-hearted effort,this Independence, to show that “Unity is strength”.
